Job summary

AGAPI Technologies in Dubai seeks a Senior Backend Developer (Golang) to design scalable backend services for AI applications. You will implement server-side logic, build RESTful and gRPC APIs, and collaborate with frontend, data engineers, and AI teams.

Requirements: 5+ years in backend with Go, Bachelor’s in CS or related field, strong microservices, cloud (AWS), Kafka or RabbitMQ, and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with Golang.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms, AWS preferred.
• Hands-on experience with streaming/messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with MVC, JDBC, and RESTful concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend solutions to support AI applications.
• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Golang.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and gRPC services for high performance.
• Collaborate with frontend, data engineers, and AI/ML teams.
• Ensure backend systems are secure, fault-tolerant, and cloud-ready.
