Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Scheduling/Planning professional to develop and maintain project schedules aligned with WBS, baselines and reporting requirements. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to control progress and manpower.

The role requires strong Primavera P6, CPM, earned value and change-management skills to support large energy projects across multiple domains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum 10-12 years scheduling/planning experience
Proficient knowledge of Primavera and CPM analysis

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain planning control structures aligned with approved project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Develop and maintain baseline project plans and schedules using appropriate scheduling software
Monitor and control planning activities through all phases of project lifecycle
Liaise with engineering, procurement and construction functions, and others including third parties, to maintain awareness of project activities, status and manpower requirements
Prepare and provide copies of project plans and schedules and progress/status reports as required
Produce and issue updates to project plans, schedules and manpower requirements
Assess and communicate schedule impact of change notifications
Monitor overall project progress, milestone achievement and performance against plan
Attend internal progress meetings and interface with Cost discipline for budget forecasting
Mentor junior Planning personnel
