Job summary

A major engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer - GIS Specialist. You will handle aftermarket services for High Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgears and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, extensive experience in High Voltage Equipment, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus for this full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years overall experience, with 6-8 years in High Voltage Equipment.
• Proven expertise in Transmission GIS Installation & Commissioning.
• Fluency in both spoken & written English is required.
• Certification in Hitachi Energy GIS products is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on High Voltage Products.
• Coordinate investigations into customer-reported issues.
• Create service reports and time sheets endorsed by customers.
• Participate in planning and execution of installation activities.
