Qualifications

• Internationally trained with strong clinical judgment and patient safety focus.
• Experience across general, laparoscopic and emergency surgery.
• Ability to work within UAE governance and hospital standards.
• Excellent communication with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage elective and emergency general surgery patients.
• Perform open and laparoscopic procedures according to scope and privileges.
• Provide perioperative care, ward rounds and follow-up.
• Collaborate with anaesthesia, ICU, radiology and other teams.
• Contribute to surgical pathways, theatre efficiency and infection prevention.
• Maintain accurate documentation including consent and discharge summaries.
