Job summary

Consulture Search is seeking aSenior Energy Underwriter to build and manage a profitable GCC energy portfolio. You will own the energy business plan, appetite, and growth roadmap, underwriting across upstream to energy-construction risks, while coordinating risk reviews and governance with leaders across the region.

You will also develop brokers and cedants, promote energy products, and work with Claims and Reinsurance on large losses and treaty terms, ensuring compliance country by country.

Qualifications

• Substantial energy underwriting experience
• GCC-facing portfolio exposure with authority
• Experience across insurer/reinsurer/Lloyd's settings and broker relationships
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Own the energy portfolio growth roadmap and appetite.
• Underwrite upstream, midstream, downstream and energy-construction risks.
• Coordinate risk-engineering reviews and translate recommendations into terms or declines.
• Develop brokers, cedants and energy partners across the GCC as primary market target.
• Partner with Claims and Reinsurance on large losses and treaty structure.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and country heads to ensure governance and compliance.
