Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking a highly motivated Petroleum Engineer to join our UAE team. You will develop and implement gas lift optimization solutions for upstream assets, leveraging reservoir engineering principles and data-driven workflows to maximize production and efficiency.

Collaborating with production operations, reservoir engineers and data scientists, you will design tools, dashboards and models, stay ahead of industry trends, and contribute to our operational excellence in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 15 years of experience in Offshore/onshore Gas & Oil with focus on artificial lift, gas lift design, asset optimization and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in well performance analysis software (e.g. PIPESIM PROSPER GAP).
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and programming languages (e.g. Python R SQL) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify optimization opportunities by analyzing well performance data and gas lift parameters.
• Develop and implement gas lift optimization strategies and equipment adjustments.
• Develop data‑driven solutions, predictive models and real‑time dashboards.
• Create and deploy software tools and workflows to streamline gas lift processes.
• Collaborate with production operations, reservoir engineers and data scientists.
• Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative solutions.
