Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program.
• Board Certification in Neurosurgery.
• Fellowship training in Functional Neurosurgery, Stereotactic Neurosurgery, or related techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level evaluation for patients for functional neurosurgical intervention.
• Diagnose and manage disorders requiring stereotactic, ablative, stimulatory, or neuromodulatory procedures.
• Assess movement disorders for surgical suitability and participate in DBS planning and programming.
• Perform DBS and other neuromodulation procedures within approved privileges.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient selection and postoperative care.
