Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to design and implement features across the stack using React/Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript. You will build custom UI libraries, architect scalable solutions, and collaborate with clients on architectural decisions.

You will review code, write tests, and contribute to tooling while maintaining a focus on clean, maintainable code and thoughtful design.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript developer.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Understanding of the DOM, browser rendering, and component architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining custom UI libraries or design systems.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and Supabase.
• Architectural thinking and decision-making about build vs. buy.
• Experience with AI development tools (Codex, Cursor, Claude) or similar.
• Ability to use AI to boost productivity while reviewing generated code.
• Commitment to clean code, scalability, and maintainability.
• Clear communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features from frontend UI to backend APIs and data layers.
• Design and maintain custom UI libraries and reusable components.
• Develop native, accessible, performant UI elements — not just wire together pre-built libraries.
• Collaborate on architecture, contribute to internal tooling and processes.
• Review code, write tests, and document your work clearly and thoughtfully.
• Participate in technical conversations with both team members and clients.
