Job summary

GDIT in Dubai is seeking a senior software professional to develop and modernize applications, including cloud migrations. You will work in Agile teams using Rally and deliver high-quality software with clean, tested code.

The role requires deep Java/J2EE and Spring Boot expertise, plus strong AWS experience involving ECS/ECR, Angular, and database skills. Expect rigorous testing and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• AWS Certification required.
• 7+ years of Java/J2EE experience (Java 19+ preferred).
• 7+ years of Spring Boot experience.
• 5+ years of AWS experience with ECS and ECR.
• Proficiency in Angular 19+.
• 2+ years of Oracle 19 or PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience with Terraform, GitLab, Docker, and REST Web Services.
• Ability to obtain a Confidential clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize applications, including migration to cloud environments.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams using Rally to manage user stories and tasks.
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests.
• Implement and maintain reusable, standardized components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Conduct performance and exploratory testing to identify bottlenecks and edge cases.
