Job summary

NorthBay is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE to design and build scalable AI-driven platforms. You will work across frontend and backend with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and Nest.js, focusing on performance and secure architectures.

You will collaborate with ML engineers, product and design teams, implement RESTful APIs, integrate databases, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Experience with AI/LLM integrations is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on React experience and modern front-end frameworks (Next.js/Vue.js).
• Strong backend with Node.js and Nest.js.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack apps using React, Next.js, TS, Node.js, and Nest.js.
• Build responsive, high-performance front-ends and reusable components.
• Develop secure back-end services, APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate third-party AI APIs and AI/LLM capabilities into apps.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, product/design teams, and other engineers.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability across stack.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
