Job summary

Digifloat is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer in Abu Dhabi to join a team delivering AI‑enabled, enterprise‑grade banking solutions. The role focuses on backend engineering, secure APIs, microservices, and distributed workflows, with frontend tasks for dashboards and UIs.

You will design scalable systems, implement robust data models, and collaborate with AI and platform teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable full stack applications with emphasis on backend engineering.
• Build robust REST APIs and backend services for complex enterprise workflows.
• Design microservices and distributed system architectures with reliable service-to-service communication.
• Develop asynchronous and event-driven workflows for long-running processes.
• Support orchestration across backend services, AI components, and external systems.
• Implement reliable processing patterns including idempotency, retries, and timeout handling.
• Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement scalable caching using Redis or similar technologies.
• Build secure authentication and authorization across APIs and microservices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for production reliability.
• Develop and maintain modern frontend applications as part of end-to-end delivery.
• Collaborate with AI, DevOps, platform teams, architects, and stakeholders.
