Job summary

Luna PR seeks an experienced frontend engineer to own end-to-end features across a React 18 frontend and Supabase backend. You will ship high-impact modules such as onboarding, AI content workspaces, and dashboards while mentoring junior engineers.

Partner with product to deploy secure, scalable architectures. You will lead reviews, optimize performance, and implement robust retrieval and AI pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production web applications.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern state management (TanStack Query, Zustand).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, or equivalent BaaS platforms.
• Comfortable owning features from Figma to deployment.
• Strong understanding of authentication, RLS, and multi-tenant data security.
• Deep experience with OpenAI and/or Gemini APIs, embeddings, and fine-tuning concepts.
• Strong TypeScript/Python skills and comfort with prompt engineering.
• Track record of shipping AI features with measurable quality improvements.
• Understanding of retrieval systems, vector stores, and evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end frontend features from design to deployment.

• Write secure RLS policies, PostgreSQL migrations, and Deno edge functions.

• Lead code reviews, set frontend architecture standards, and unblock teammates.
• Profile and optimize bundle size, query performance, and render cycles.
• Architect prompt pipelines using OpenAI Responses API, GPT-5.6 family, and Gemini fallbacks.
• Build structured output parsers, JSON schema validators, and retry/fallback logic.
• Implement embedding-based retrieval, few-shot exemplar matching, and RAG grounding.
• Evaluate model output quality, latency, and cost across content types.
• Create guardrails against hallucination, bias, and off-brand output.
• Collaborate with product on new AI features and human-in-the-loop workflows.
