Job summary

Wahed is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Core development team. You will contribute to the Wahed Platform, a React Native app, building and maintaining features with a focus on quality and performance.

You will mentor other frontend engineers, work with APIs, and help create a seamless user experience across web and mobile. Experience with React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and GraphQL is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent experience with React Native.
• At least 7 years of commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React ecosystem.
• Product-minded with focus on user experience.
• Ability to balance pragmatism with quality solutions.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop the React Native architecture including core mobile components.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver features per roadmap.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to frontend/mobile engineers.
• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across frontend platforms.
• Engineer cross-platform features for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate with APIs for platform partnerships.
