Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to design, build, and maintain the user-facing applications powering our product platform. You will ensure performance, accessibility, and usability while collaborating with backend, mobile, design, and QA teams.

You will translate UI designs into pixel-perfect interfaces, develop reusable components and design systems, and optimize for speed, cross‑browser compatibility, and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Redux, MobX, Zustand or similar state management.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Good communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications and UIs.
• Write clean, testable code following best practices.
• Translate UI designs into accessible interfaces.
• Build reusable components and design systems.
• Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Optimize performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues with backend/QA.
• Implement automated tests (unit/integration/e2e).
• Ensure web security and WCAG accessibility.
• Document components and frontend architecture.
