Job summary

Greenstone seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the frontend of its web apps, including internal CRM and investor portal, with occasional PHP/Laravel backend contributions. It’s a senior IC role in a small, high-trust tech team reporting to leadership.

You’ll work with React/TypeScript, build scalable components, and evolve the Material UI design system. Expect collaboration across coverage, product, and compliance, with AI-assisted coding and AWS hosting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience including frontend ownership.
• Expert-level React and TypeScript with modern JS, HTML, CSS build toolchain (Vite).
• Design reusable component systems and scalable frontend architecture with Material UI experience.
• State and data handling with Redux and TanStack Query; routing and forms.
• Data-rich applications with complex tables, charts and document handling.
• Security-minded, performance-focused frontend development and accessibility.
• Automated testing, CI/CD and code reviews.
• Backend capability in PHP/Laravel and RESTful APIs.
• AWS experience with RDS, S3, OpenSearch, GuardDuty, CI/CD in AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Dubai-based, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture and delivery of internal CRM and investor portal.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate workflows into usable experiences from discovery to release.
• Develop React/TypeScript apps with scalable components and disciplined data-fetching patterns.
• Evolve the Material UI design system with data-dense tables and charts.
• Improve performance and frontend observability; ensure reliable releases and real-time features.
• Maintain secure-by-design practices and contribute to security audits.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to boost productivity.
• Work across the stack with PHP/Laravel APIs and integrations when needed.
• Support data protection and regulatory requirements for investor data.
• Operate on AWS-hosted platform and CI/CD pipelines.
