Candidates should be comfortable creating complex parts, assemblies, and detailed production drawings. A solid understanding of GD&T and DFM is essential because the role requires models and drawings that can withstand engineering review and support practical manufacturing requirements. Experience conducting CAD quality assurance, verifying model integrity, and checking design outputs against specifications will be important.
