Job summary

Emirates in Dubai seeks a Senior Finance Specialist within dnata FP&A to drive financial strategy and decision making for a global business. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting and modelling while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

The role requires 5+ years in finance with 3+ years in FP&A, plus a relevant degree and professional qualification. Proficiency in Power BI will help translate data into insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance.
• Degree holder and a relevant professional qualification (BSc, BA, MBA or Qualified Accountant).
• At least 3+ years in FP&A delivering value in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual budget submissions to cost centre holders and justify assumptions.
• Collate monthly cash flow data and maintain a 3-year rolling forecast model.
• Educate managers on financial systems, drivers, NPV and ROI concepts.
• Produce reports (DCRs, MFRs, weekly and cost/revenue reports) for decision making.
• Generate and analyse periodic re-forecasts at department and corporate levels.
• Provide financial information to initiate workflows (RFPs, P2P, ITSRs, MREs).
• Support dnata Travel accounting: validate invoices, accruals, reconciliations.
• Help establish end-to-end accounting procedures for new initiatives.
• Deliver detailed analysis of new projects for the project register.
• Benchmark KPIs and provide insights to improve revenue and reduce costs.
• Coach staff and develop talent within the finance team.
