Senior Forward Deployed Engineer | UAE-based (relocation available)

About:

We’re partnering with a fast-scaling, VC-backed AI company that is expanding into the UAE. They already have support from the very top of some of the region’s largest organisations and a growing pipeline of projects. They’re now hiring a Senior FDE to bring experienced leadership to a young, ambitious regional team.

This is a hands-on, client-facing engineering role. You’ll work closely with enterprise and government clients to understand their operations, spot the biggest opportunities, and then build and ship the solutions yourself. In your first year, you’ll lead large-scale integration programmes across multiple client systems, and you’ll set the approach from day one rather than inheriting one. The focus is strong backend and integration engineering, backed by a solid understanding of AI (with AI as a tool, not the focus).

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of software engineering, including time in solutions or client-facing engineering roles
• Full-stack, backend-leaning background. The stack is mainly Python, but your ability to learn quickly matters more than the language you’ve used
• Track record of delivering large enterprise integrations (APIs, data pipelines, legacy systems)
• Strong cloud experience, ideally Azure. AWS or GCP is also valued
• Experience on large-scale enterprise platforms, ideally within a top engineering environment
• Confident leading conversations with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
