Job summary

You will drive food technology initiatives for new product development, optimise processes to minimise waste and costs, mentor junior technologists, develop SOPs, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent qualification (Preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the food industry.
• Experience in formulation, DOE, shelf-life extension, and commercialization.
• Experience in supplier qualification, cost optimization, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and resolve complex product and process deviations.
• Design experiments, interpret analytical data, and translate findings into solutions.
• Drive new product development through documented scientific findings.
• Optimize processes to minimize waste, reduce costs, and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers, equipment vendors, and universities to validate solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical SOPs for food technology processes.
• Deliver technical training to culinary and production teams.
• Lead multiple projects with clear plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Mentor junior team members and promote scientific rigor and knowledge sharing.
