Job summary

Client of Michael Page seeks a UAE National Senior Associate, Financial Reporting in Abu Dhabi to lead consolidated financial and statutory reporting, prepare journals, and oversee close activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. You will drive regulatory reporting, ensure data integrity, and liaise with auditors.

Role requires strong IFRS expertise, 8+ years in audit/accounting (Big Four preferred), and experience with ERP/EPM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business.
• UAE National with family book status.
• 8+ years’ experience in audit/accounting (Big Four preferred).
• Strong IFRS and financial reporting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support consolidated financial and statutory reporting processes.
• Prepare journals.
• Financial statements.
• Variance analysis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Lead regulatory reporting and ensure data integrity.
• Liaise with auditors and support audit deliverables.
• Maintain accounting policies and position papers.
• Review investment documentation and classification.
• Manage treasury accounting reconciliations and disclosures.
• Deliver management reporting and forecasting updates.
