Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with our EMEA Global Sales teams, delivering strategic initiatives, enhancing revenue, and optimizing investments for customer impact.

You will support senior Sales Leaders with deep dives into business drivers, governance mechanisms, and data-driven decision making, leveraging finance expertise to shape long-term growth in a fast-evolving tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field; experience in finance roles.
• Fluent English: speak, write, read.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and interpreting financial results.
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform business decisions.

Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst partnering with our EMEA Amazon Global Sales teams to deliver strategic initiatives, increase revenue, and maximize return on investments while delighting our customers.

In this role, you will support senior Sales Leaders by diving deep into business drivers, identifying measures of success, building and implementing mechanisms to drive governance, and providing data-driven insights that influence decision making. You'll leverage your expertise in financial analysis, business partnering, and clear communication to develop strategic frameworks that drive long-term revenue growth in a dynamic, innovative environment at the forefront of technology.

Key job responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives, creating financial frameworks that drive data-informed business decisions and maximize return on investments.
• Build and maintain key reporting metrics (KPIs) with compelling narratives that help business partners understand performance trends and take appropriate action.
• Perform complex financial analyses and develop scalable mechanisms that provide insights on business drivers, identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvements.
• Present financial summaries and business insights to senior management, effectively communicating complex finance topics with the right level of detail for informed decision-making.
• Drive short and long-term financial planning processes, collaborating across organizations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining strong financial controllership.

You might start by reviewing key performance metrics and preparing insightful analyses for an upcoming business review with Sales leadership. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners on strategic initiatives, dive deep into data to uncover business insights, and develop recommendations that drive action. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience in relevant finance roles
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform business decisions with proven business impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
• Experience in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA or related discipline)
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)
