Job summary

Madison Pearl is partnering with a well-established financial services entity in DIFC, Dubai, to appoint a Senior Finance Manager. The role covers financial management, reporting, budgeting, treasury and robust financial controls, with regular interaction with senior management and external stakeholders.

You will lead month-end close, payroll oversight, audits, and strategic financial planning while strengthening processes and supporting the organisation's longer-term financial strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial accounting and management reporting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and internal controls
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems, e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial management, including accounting, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and insights to support management decision-making
• Manage treasury, cash management and cash-flow forecasting, including fixed deposit placements and banking relationships
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organisation's financial records and fixed asset register
• Oversee monthly payroll and ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, managing requests, documentation and follow-up on audit findings
• Support senior management with financial analysis, management reporting and strategic financial planning
• Ensure Finance policies, processes and controls remain robust, compliant and fit for purpose
• Work with the Head of Finance and wider business to identify process improvements, efficiencies and opportunities to strengthen financial operations
• Provide guidance and support to Finance team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment

This is a broad Finance role covering financial management, reporting, budgeting, treasury and financial controls, with regular interaction with senior management and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will also play an important role in strengthening processes and supporting the organisation's longer-term financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial management, including accounting, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
• Manage treasury, cash management and cash-flow forecasting, including fixed deposit placements and banking relationships.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organisation's financial records and fixed asset register.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of financial accounting and management reporting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA etc.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and internal controls.
• Experience working with ERP and accounting systems, e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365
