Job summary

Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Field Instrument Engineer to lead site surveys, instrumentation installation, and commissioning for complex projects. You will develop schedules, specify instruments, and coordinate with vendors, procurement, and control systems teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s or diploma in engineering with at least 8 years in field instrumentation, F&B/FF knowledge (HART/Fieldbus) is advantageous, and strong leadership

Qualifications

A Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics.
Minimum 8 years of field instrumentation project/construction experience.
Experience with control systems (DCS) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Execute site surveys for field instrumentation scope.
Plan and execute construction scope of instrumentation work.
Prepare project and construction schedules and WBS.
Perform technical evaluation of vendor quotations.
Prepare instrument data sheets, specifications, layouts, and cable schedules.
Coordinate with procurement and control system teams.
Oversee installation contractor work and site commissioning.
