Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Field Engineer IV in Abu Dhabi to apply standard engineering techniques across Geozone Operations. You will lead field activities, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients to deliver safe, high-quality installation and service at the wellsite.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and 5+ years in oil and gas, with proven problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to work in demanding field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science required.
• 5+ years oil and gas field experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, safety, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain governance and compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and JHAs at job sites.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to enable repeat business.
• Plan assignments, mobilization, and job execution with documentation.
• Monitor operational data and propose service improvements.
• Oversee field operations crew and provide technical mentorship.
