Job summary

MediaSource FZC is seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineer to ensure smooth operations of assigned properties, resolve complex technical issues, and support Facilities Managers with budgeting and reporting.

The role oversees on-site teams, leads preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and related systems, and drives continuous improvement in service delivery while complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; CFM preferred.
• 7+ years in facilities management or engineering with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of building systems and HSE regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial success of projects or groups of projects.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical and Landscaping.
• Review and implement maintenance schedules and specifications.
• Optimize service delivery processes for efficiency.
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment and assets.
• Develop cost-reduction and management control systems.
• Design facility control systems to ensure quality standards.
• Evaluate contractor performance and follow up on improvements.
• Respond to emergencies and client requests with escalation as needed.
• Supervise in-house technical teams for installations and maintenance.
