Job summary

EY in Dubai is seeking a Senior Auditor to support the Audit team, delivering high-quality financial reporting insights and maintaining client relationships. You will participate in engagements, collaborate with teams, and present findings to management.

The role requires a strong academic background, 4+ years of external audit experience, and a completed professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA), ideally with Big 4 exposure.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record; a Bachelor's degree (regular study) is mandatory.
• At least four years of professional experience in external audit.
• Fully completed professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements, working as part of a team and updating senior team members on progress.
• Help prepare for meetings with target management teams and deliver reports and schedules to clients.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
• Identify risks and escalate opportunities to EY while ensuring high-quality work reviewed by senior staff.

The opportunity

EY is looking for a Senior Auditors to support our Dubai Audit team and help our clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Audit team you will participate in audit engagements, working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress. You will also help prepare for meetings with target management teams, and participate in these meetings, assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.

Actively establishing internal and external relationships, and identifying and escalating potential business opportunities for EY will be essential, as well contributing to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you’ll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.
