Job summary

Regional Center for Educational Planning is seeking an Expert in Studies and Research to lead strategic and operational efforts in education research. The role requires a strong research background, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and experience with international organizations.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in educational research or a related field, with Ph.D. preferred, and bring extensive experience in studies and research within regional or global contexts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in educational research or equivalent required.
• Ph.D. in a related field preferred.
• 15 years of experience in studies and research for Master’s degree or 10 years for Ph.D.
• Experience with international organizations and institutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting the implementation of strategic and operational plans for the Center in studies and research.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams within the Center and stakeholders in the studies and research department.
• Developing and publishing studies, research papers, and related documents.
• Monitoring and analyzing regional and international education trends to provide expertise and guidance.
• Supervising the preparation and implementation of studies and research projects to align outputs with global standards.
• Providing specialized expertise and strategic guidance to the studies and research team and publishing policies.
• Supervising the process of publishing studies and research produced by the Center.
• Offering technical consultations in studies, research, and policy development to countries within the Center’s scope.
• Preparing consultancy service proposals for clients and stakeholders to maintain Center’s position as a service provider.
• Drafting terms of reference for approved studies and projects.
• Performing any other tasks as needed.
