Job summary

A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Events Officer to manage events from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5-7 years of experience in event management. Key responsibilities include organizing events, managing vendor relationships, and developing marketing plans. The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in event management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale events and working with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Planning events from start to finish according to requirements.
  • Create, develop and implement event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the delivery and setup of event materials and branding collaterals.
  • Ensure all events comply with legal, audit, and internal control standards.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans for events, including social media and other promotional activities.

Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
