Job summary

ALEC Engineering and Contracting L.L.C. (ALEC) in the UAE is seeking a Senior Estimator for its fast-paced Fit Out division to lead cost estimates and tender submissions for high-end projects. You will review drawings, BOQs, and supplier quotes, drive competitive pricing, and mentor junior estimators.

You will collaborate with procurement, operations, and commercial teams, identify value engineering opportunities, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of proposals across luxury interiors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 10+ years of estimating experience in fit-out or luxury interiors.
• Proven track record leading complex tender submissions.
• Strong understanding of cost drivers, procurement, and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Leading cost estimates and tender submissions for high-end fit-out projects.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accurate pricing.
• Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and cost data.
• Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities to optimize costs.
• Supporting procurement and commercial teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Mentoring junior estimators and promoting best practices.
