Job summary

You will interpret drawings and specifications, respond to technical queries, and collaborate with sales, engineering and procurement to optimise solutions, costs and delivery timelines while pursuing new commercial opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in estimation, technical sales, or project delivery for fire doors, security doors, or glazing systems.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes, fire resistance regulations and construction best practices.
• Excellent computer literacy including measurement, estimation, and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and tenders for fire doors, screens, and glazing systems.
• Interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and compliance standards.
• Engage with contractors, architects and consultants, responding to technical queries and providing support.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and procurement to optimise solutions, costs and delivery timelines.
• Track project changes, evaluate impacts on cost and programme, and revise estimates accordingly.
• Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities in targeted construction and architectural sectors.
