Job summary

TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A DUBAI BRANCH seeks an experienced environmental engineer to provide supervision and technical guidance across water, dewatering, waste, and wadi protection projects. Responsibilities

• Provide environmental supervision, compliance monitoring, and technical advice for environmental, water, dewatering, waste, wadi protection, and authority-related matters.
• Review and monitor Contractor’s environmental management plan, method statements, permits, waste handling, and dewatering.
• Coordinate environmental matters with DM, relevant authorities, the Contractor, and the supervision team.

Job description

Provide environmental supervision, compliance

monitoring, and technical advice for environmental,

water, dewatering, waste, wadi protection, and

authority-related matters.

• Review and monitor Contractor’s environmental

management plan, environmental method

statements, permits, waste management, water

handling, dewatering, erosion and sediment control,

dust/noise control, spill prevention, and protection

of surrounding assets and natural features.

• Coordinate environmental matters with DM,

relevant authorities, the Contractor, and the

supervision team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Civil

Engineering, Environmental Science, Water

Resources Engineering, or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience.

• +7 years of experience in the Architecture,

Engineering and Planning Industry in a design role,

specifically in water and environment engineering

design.

• +2 years of experience in the Architecture,

Engineering and Planning Industry in a top tier

regional / multinational consultancy / Construction

firm focused on water and environment design.

Experience in environmental supervision or

environmental management on infrastructure,

water, drainage, stormwater, dewatering, or similar

construction projects.

• Good knowledge of UAE/Dubai environmental

requirements, construction environmental controls,

water/environmental engineering standards,

authority coordination, reporting, and compliance

monitoring.
