Job summary

Synapse Analytics is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own complex deployments across banking and enterprise environments. You will lead architecture discussions, design deployment architectures, and build reusable integration components.

You will mentor junior engineers and create high-quality deployment runbooks. You will collaborate with client infrastructure, security, data, and engineering teams to ensure successful integration of Synapse products within highly controlled

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in forward deployed engineering or related fields.
• Hands-on Python and API development.
• Experience deploying production apps with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux.
• Experience in on-premise/private cloud/air-gapped environments.
• Strong enterprise networking and security knowledge.
• Ability to design deployment architectures and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical implementations across banking and enterprise environments.
• Lead architecture discussions with client infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.
• Design deployment architectures covering network topology, security boundaries, auth, data flows and APIs.
• Build adapters, connectors, automation, deployment tooling and integration components.
• Lead deployment and orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, Linux.
• Define upgrade, migration, rollback, and production rollout strategies.
• Mentor engineers and review technical designs.
• Produce architecture documents, API specs, and runbooks.
