Job summary

Synapse Analytics is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own the technical success of complex deployments across banking and enterprise clients. You will partner with client security architecture, data and engineering teams to design deployment and integration patterns that let Synapse products operate in highly controlled environments.

You will lead architecture discussions, drive implementation decisions, and develop reusable artifacts.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in forward deployed engineering and enterprise deployments.
Strong hands-on software engineering with Python and API development.
Experience deploying in on-premise, air-gapped or restricted environments.
Ability to design deployment/integration architectures and own outcomes.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical implementations across banking and enterprise clients.
Lead architecture discussions with infrastructure, networking, security and data teams.
Design deployment architectures covering topology, security, authentication, data flows, observability, HA and DR.
Build reusable adapters and integration components when product capabilities do not directly satisfy client requirements.
Lead deployment and orchestration of Synapse applications using Kubernetes, Docker and Linux.
Mentor engineers and review designs; coordinate on-call coverage for critical environments.
