We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead the engineering, integration, testing, commissioning, and lifecycle management of complex industrial systems across major Oil & Gas EPC projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integrated systems engineering, multidiscipline coordination, system integration, and commissioning within Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, or Industrial Infrastructure projects.
YOUR ROLE
As Senior Engineer (Systems), you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between electrical, instrumentation, automation, communication, control, and SCADA systems while supporting successful project execution from engineering design through commissioning and final handover.
Systems Engineering & Design Leadership
- Lead system engineering activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Review and validate system architectures, engineering deliverables, network layouts, and functional design specifications.
- Develop and review system integration philosophies and engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, client specifications, international standards, and contractual obligations.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability assessments, and technical workshops.
- Ensure interoperability between all project systems.

Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate interfaces between Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Construction, and Operations teams.
- Manage interface registers and integration matrices.
- Resolve engineering conflicts and interface challenges.
- Ensure alignment between engineering packages and vendor deliverables.
- Lead technical coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
- Develop and execute system integration strategies and plans.
- Coordinate interfaces among DCS, PLC, SCADA, SAS, FGS, and communication systems.
- Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Participate in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Conduct Integrated System Testing (IST).
- Verify control logic, communication protocols, and overall system performance.
- Support startup, operational readiness, client acceptance, and final system handover.
Cybersecurity & Reliability
- Support industrial cybersecurity implementation and compliance.
- Review network architecture and security controls.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Drive reliability improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance system availability.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet project quality requirements.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and risk assessments.
- Support audits, inspections, NCR closure, and compliance reviews.
- Promote safe engineering practices and adherence to HSE standards.
- Review technical bids and vendor proposals.
- Evaluate system suppliers and contractors.
- Coordinate vendor engineering, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor vendor performance and technical compliance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- Minimum 10-15 years of engineering experience.
- Minimum 7 years within: Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, Industrial Infrastructure, EPC Projects, Energy Sector
- Proven experience in: Integrated systems engineering, System integration and commissioning, Multidisciplinary engineering coordination, Power Houses and Substations, Process Facilities and Industrial Plants
Education and Certifications
- Certifications in: Automation, SCADA Systems, Industrial Control Systems, Digital Engineering
