Job summary

Edge Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced leader to guide cross‑functional engineering teams in RF, power electronics, embedded software, and AI for defense technologies.

You will own system architecture, drive design reviews, ensure MIL‑STD/DO‑178C compliance, and mentor engineers while coordinating roadmaps and budget. This role requires 8+ years in technical project management or embedded electronics within defense/aerospace, ideally missile systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware, firmware, integration, qualification, V&V, and production transition.
• Familiarity with configuration management, technical reviews, milestones, and documentation in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware/firmware design teams and ensure compliance with standards and qualification requirements.
• Organize and chair multidisciplinary design reviews; enforce MIL‑STD, IEEE/IEC, DO‑178C practices.
• Define system requirements and integrate RF, digital hardware, AI, and embedded control into product platforms.
• Lead simulation, testing, and qualification of power electronics, RF systems, and high‑speed digital hardware.
• Oversee firmware/software lifecycle from requirements to verification, ensuring maintainability and certification.
• Design and integrate AI/ML/CV/NLP solutions for real‑time analytics and intelligent decision‑making.
• Drive MBSE innovation and promote advanced R&D initiatives.

• Strong understanding of missile/weapon system development and production.
• Ability to operate in fast‑paced, regulated environments.
