As a Senior Engineer, you will lead technical planning and capacity management for international signaling and voice networks. You will prepare technical specifications, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver robust solutions. This position involves designing reliable signaling architectures, managing IGW technologies, and ensuring network security and performance for mission‑critical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate international signaling network core equipment and enhancements into Etisalat’s core structure
• Prepare technical specifications for signaling and voice network equipment
• Analyze KPIs for fixed core systems and ensure optimal performance
• Interface with vendors, internal teams, and consultants to resolve IGW planning challenges
• Participate in tendering and negotiations for technical upgrades
• Stay updated on IGW technologies and industry developments
• Design and plan international control plane signaling solutions with redundancy and reliability
• Dimension network nodes (SoftSwitches, Media Gateways, Signaling Gateways) to meet capacity requirements
• Coordinate with Network Security for robust security implementations
• Collaborate with Carrier and Wholesale teams for capacity forecasting and planning

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• 4–6 years of experience in Fixed Core Planning at Senior Engineer level
