Damac Properties is seeking an experienced Electrical & ELV design engineer to lead detailed design efforts for data center projects, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, standards, local codes, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with engineering and project teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform sizing calculations, review specifications, and manage timely deliverables. Travel for site inspection and commissioning is expected as part of project execution.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in electrical & ELV systems design for data centers or similar facilities.
• Design experience and knowledge in Electrical design, small power CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access control, EPMS, Building Automation etc.
• Proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD/Revit software.
• Willingness to travel for site inspections and testing/commissioning activities.

Job description

Job Responsiblities:

• Support the delivery of detailed design of Electrical & ELV systems whilst ensuring compliance with company design guidelines, industry and international standards, local codes, and regulations.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to complete and review designs, technical submissions or bids, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage a team of engineers to deliver projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Mentor junior engineers and familiarize them with the various design standards and industry best practices including company's design guidelines.
• Prepare concepts designs and technical analysis of design options in collaboration with engineering and project teams and perform assignments within deadlines.
• Perform detailed engineering and design & sizing calculations.
• Familiar with ETAP/AMTECH, Dialux, etc.
• Develop and review project specifications and ensure compliance with the project requirements, company design guidelines, industry and international standards, local codes, and regulations.
• Assess design risks factors and reliability issues.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Data Centre Electrical & ELV system.
• Performs Electrical system design optimization and energy efficiency.
• Conducts surveys, gap analysis, review, and assessments of existing data center sites and documentation, and develop technical reports.
• Be able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders under the supervision of design manager and director.
• Flexible and willing to take on multiple job roles simultaneously and meet deadlines

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree holder, Master's degree is preferred

• 8+ years of experience in electrical & ELV systems design and engineering design, specifically in Data Center projects or similar mission-critical facilities.
• Design experience and knowledge in Electrical design, small power CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access control, EPMS, Building Automation etc.
• Well verse in MS Office and AutoCAD/Revit software.
• Strong in critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel for site inspection and participate in testing and commissioning activities at factories and project sites.
