Sener is seeking a Senior Engineer – Building Structures to support the design and delivery of complex Rail & Metro infrastructure within the Landbridge Program. This role demands technical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to shape world-class engineering solutions for major projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Rail and Metro infrastructure project experience mandatory.
• Proven experience with reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Proficient in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD Pro, Robot Structural Analysis or equivalents.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, BS standards and related regulations.
• Experience producing structural calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Experience supporting projects from concept through tender and construction phases.
• Professional accreditation such as PE/CEng desirable and English language proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review structural designs for Rail & Metro infrastructure projects.
• Carry out structural analysis and design for RC, steel, and composite systems.
• Prepare and review calculations, design reports, specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Coordinate structural activities with multidisciplinary teams including civil, architectural, geotechnical, MEP, rail systems, and project management.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments.
• Support interface management and resolve technical challenges across disciplines.
• Assist discipline leads and project managers in monitoring design progress, quality, schedules, and resources.
• Review technical submissions, design modifications, shop drawings, and engineering deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled structural engineer with rail infrastructure experience who is passionate about technical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and delivering world-class engineering solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and review structural designs for Rail & Metro infrastructure projects, including stations, depots, maintenance facilities, operational buildings, bridges, and associated structures.
• Carry out structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, composite, and other structural systems.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, design reports, technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Coordinate structural engineering activities with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, architectural, geotechnical, MEP, rail systems, and project management disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, value engineering exercises, and constructability assessments.
• Support interface management activities and resolve technical challenges across project disciplines.
• Assist discipline leads and project managers in monitoring design progress, technical quality, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Review technical submissions, design modifications, shop drawings, and engineering deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, technical innovation, and the implementation of engineering best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent professional accreditation is desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Rail and Metro infrastructure projects (mandatory).
• Proven experience designing transportation-related structures, including stations, depots, operational buildings, and infrastructure facilities.
• Experience working on major Rail, Metro, High-Speed Rail, or Integrated Transportation projects.
• Strong expertise in reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Proven experience using structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD Pro, Robot Structural Analysis, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of international design standards and codes, including Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, BS Standards, and related regulations.
• Experience preparing structural calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Experience supporting projects through concept, detailed design, tender, and construction support stages.
• English Skills
