Job summary

AIQU is seeking a Senior Engineer Governance Standards to oversee enterprise-wide workplace technologies in a large-scale Sharjah environment. The role focuses on defining standards, security controls, and policy baselines for end-user computing.

You will partner with IT teams to implement governance, drive standardization, and ensure compliance across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms, using Intune, SCCM, JAMF and MS 365 tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in Workplace Technology / End-User Computing / IT Infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on governance, standards, or architecture.
• Proven experience with endpoint platforms (Windows 10/11, macOS, mobile OS).
• Experience with collaboration & productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, email platforms).
• Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, JAMF or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of workplace/end-User technology architectures and standardization.
• Experience in defining and implementing technical standards, policies, and configuration baselines.
• Knowledge of endpoint security controls (AV, EDR, encryption, patching) and IAM concepts (Azure AD, SSO, MFA).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem, Configuration Management).
• Ability to interpret and apply security and compliance requirements to workplace technologies.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Structured, detail-oriented approach with focus on consistency and compliance.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft 365, Endpoint Management, ITIL Foundation, CISSP or equivalent).
• Experience in large enterprise environments with complex workplace technology landscapes.

Employment Type: 1-year & extendable contract, long-term, outsourced for one of our clients

Work Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a maximum of 15-30 days of notice

Required Experience:
