Job description

We are looking for a Senior Employee Engagement Specialist to play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall employee experience, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving organizational success through strategic and functional initiatives. You will design and execute engagement strategies, programs, and activities that ensure employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity for both retail stores and head office. You will be responsible for end to end operations of all the engagement activities. This is a hands‑on role requiring strategic thinking and creativity to build a thriving work environment. Strategic Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Build trusting relationships with Business Leaders, HR colleagues and employees to develop a deep understanding of the organization’s workforce and culture needs to foster a climate that respects and values diversity, inclusion and belonging among employees to build engagement and continually develop our culture.
  • Execute strategies to meet people centric engagement KPIs and Emiratisation strategy, goals and expectations aligned to budget (manage engagement budget).
  • Collaborate with management to identify and prioritize key engagement objectives and initiatives.
  • Develop initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace
  • Utilize employee feedback, surveys, and key performance indicators to measure and analyze engagement levels.
  • Develop and execute continuous feedback loops to successfully measure and assess culture through the "pulse" of colleagues and work collaboratively to develop plans for action and report on the action we take.
  • Adherence to annual budgets, timelines and creative design to increase employee engagement and to sustain the employee culture. Functional Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, administer, and analyze employee surveys and feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement.
  • Execute engagement programs and initiatives, quarterly sports, birthdays, wellness, CSR and team‑building activities.
  • End to end manage recognition programs to acknowledge outstanding performance and contributions.
  • In partnership with people analytics, prepare and maintain reports and documentation related to engagement initiatives and communicate necessary information to business partners and management in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices as it relates to company culture, diversity‑related issues, legislation, and best practices.
  • Acts as a champion for all Employee Experience related initiatives, processes, and program and owns the projects end to end.
  • Oversees the overall production of internal communications, events and programs materials, including newsletters, for the purpose of communicating critical information to employees. Ensures all communications reaches multi‑generations, diverse employees, and various levels of education
  • Collects timely data to support business initiatives through focus groups, surveys, town halls, one‑on‑one interviews, and other methodology; evaluates and applies the data to support decisions.
