Qualifications

• Must hold specialist qualification and Board Certification or equivalent in Emergency Medicine.
• Eligibility for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) is required.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with evidence of outcome-focused improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Emergency Medicine Department to maintain safe, efficient, evidence-based clinical practice.
• Provide consultant-level assessment and treatment for acute emergencies across patient age groups.
• Direct trauma resuscitation and coordinate multidisciplinary care for severely injured patients.
• Perform and supervise advanced airway management in emergencies requiring respiratory support.
• Manage cardiac emergencies including ACS, arrhythmias, arrest, and hemodynamic instability.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, protocols, and escalation pathways.
• Review workflow to improve patient movement, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee staffing levels, duty schedules, and service coverage across shifts.
• Mentor junior doctors and residents; support ongoing professional development.
• Coordinate with hospital leadership on capacity, resources, and service priorities.
• Lead clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives in patient safety and outcomes.
