Job summary

Allocation Assist is seeking an experienced Consultant Emergency Medicine – Adult & Paediatric to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The incumbent will provide comprehensive emergency care to adults and children in a fast-paced ED, coordinating with specialists and ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care.

The role requires a medical degree (MBBS/MD), postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine, and valid DOH License – Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

Proven track record as Consultant/Specialist in Emergency Medicine.
Experience managing both adult and paediatric emergencies.
Current BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and stabilization for adults and paediatric patients.
Manage a wide range of medical, surgical, trauma and paediatric emergencies.
Perform rapid triage and prioritise patients by clinical urgency.
Stabilise critically ill patients and coordinate admissions or transfers.
Perform airway management, resuscitation and other emergency procedures within scope of practice.
Collaborate with specialists, intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure safe discharge planning and effective pain management.
Document accurately and maintain compliance with DOH regulations and hospital policies.
