Job summary

Luxoft in Dubai seeks a hands-on technical leader to design, optimize, and productize high-performance computer vision and AI pipelines for consumer devices. You will ensure real-time performance, power efficiency, and robustness across embedded platforms.

Responsibilities include designing CV/image processing pipelines, collaborating with ISP and sensor teams, deploying ML models on edge devices, and optimizing for latency, memory, and thermal constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10+ years in computer vision/image processing.
• Proven experience shipping at least one consumer product with embedded vision/AI.
• Strong C++ (C++14/17/20) and performance optimization.
• OpenCV and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX).
• Experience deploying ML models on embedded/edge devices.
• Model optimization (quantization, pruning).
• Strong 2D/3D geometry and linear algebra knowledge.
• Experience with embedded Linux or Android systems.
• Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
• Power and thermal constraints optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time computer vision and image pipelines for embedded devices.
• Collaborate with ISP, sensor, and tuning teams to optimize image quality.
• Develop and deploy ML models for visual recognition and scene understanding.
• Optimize ML models for edge deployment (quantization, pruning).
• Implement performance-critical algorithms in modern C++ for embedded platforms.
• Profile and optimize latency, power, memory, and thermal usage.
• Integrate inference engines (TFLite, TensorRT, ONNX Runtime) on SoCs.
• Work with Android/Linux teams to integrate camera and AI pipelines.
• Define and track KPIs: FPS, power, memory, startup time, accuracy.
• Drive debugging and automated validation in production builds.
• Mentor engineers and review architecture proposals.
• Support product bring-up and mass production readiness.
