Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior ELV Engineer in Abu Dhabi to supervise and manage all ELV systems during construction, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, authority requirements, and industry best practices.

The role emphasizes experience in theme parks, themed entertainment destinations, attractions, immersive environments, and interior design-focused developments where ELV systems play a critical guest experience role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Professional registration or membership in a recognized engineering institution preferred.
• Minimum 15 years post-graduate experience, with ≥5 years in construction supervision consultancy.
• Proven track record in major entertainment, hospitality, leisure, tourism, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong experience in ELV design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and integration.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction and installation of all ELV systems per IFC drawings and specs.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, testing procedures and queries.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality and compliance.
• Coordinate ELV works with architectural, interior, theming, MEP, and vendor teams.
• Oversee security, communications, AV, show-related and smart building systems.
• Review integrated systems in themed environments and show buildings.
• Ensure coordination between ELV and themed elements for guest experience.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, IST, and commissioning activities.
• Manage NCRs, site observations, and timely close-out.
• Participate in coordination meetings; provide client/stakeholder recommendations.
• Support authority inspections, approvals, testing, and handover.
