Job summary

Peergrowth Consultancy Co. is seeking a technically proficient Sales Engineer / Solution Architect with ELV and CCTV expertise to support the sales process and deliver robust physical security solutions.

You will translate client needs into detailed designs, prepare documentation, and conduct POCs for prospective clients. The role requires 6 years in pre-sales, strong IP video surveillance knowledge, and the ability to travel for on-site assessments and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6 years of pre-sales technical support and solution design experience, ideally in ELV CCTV or security systems.
• Strong expertise in IP video surveillance, network architecture, and system integration.
• Proficiency in Visio and AutoCAD for technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs with strong proposal writing skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site surveys.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery calls and site surveys to assess client needs infrastructure and constraints.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients throughout the pre-sales process building credibility and trust.
• Translate complex client requirements into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
• Design integrated physical security solutions centered on CCTV/VMS incorporating network requirements storage calculations server sizing and cybersecurity considerations.
• Prepare high-quality documentation including system diagrams and schematics, BOM, SOW, and technical proposals.
• Lead technology demonstrations and POCs for prospective clients.
• Provide expert guidance on IP video surveillance, network architecture, and system integration.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Advise clients and sales on best practices for design, cybersecurity, and scalability.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Differentiate solutions based on technical merit and architectural advantages.
• Transition sold projects to operations with clear documentation.
• Train and mentor the sales team on products and trends.
• Provide feedback on product gaps and competitive intelligence.
