Job summary

ANT Engineering Consultants seeks an Electrical Inspector for projects in the UAE. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in UAE construction supervision and inspection roles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and authority submission procedures (DEWA, DCD, DM).
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all electrical installations including power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and grounding systems.
• Review and verify material deliveries to ensure compliance with approved submittals and project specifications.
• Ensure all electrical work is done according to applicable codes.
• Attend site inspections, testing, and commissioning, preparing reports on findings.
• Monitor contractor's workmanship for quality and safety standards.
• Review and comment on electrical shop drawings, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Report nonconformances and coordinate with discipline inspectors.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain documentation.
