Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks an Electrical Inspector to ensure electrical systems comply with codes and safety standards. You will inspect installations, review plans, and enforce regulations across projects, liaising with contractors and project managers to resolve issues. The role requires 7+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and readiness to travel across UAE. Fluency in English is essential, Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector preferred.
7+ years of experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).

Responsibilities

Inspect electrical systems, equipment and installations for compliance.
Review electrical plans, drawings and blueprints for regulatory conformity.
Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international codes and safety standards.
Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings and corrective actions.
Liaise with contractors, engineers and project managers to resolve compliance issues.
