Job summary

A consulting engineering firm in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer (Design / Site) with at least 5 years of experience in high-rise or large-scale buildings. The role includes preparing designs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting site inspections. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and hold FEWA accreditation. This position offers a salary range of AED 5,000 – 8,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven experience in high-rise or large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, electrical design codes, and UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Must hold a valid classification/accreditation from FEWA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical designs and specifications.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations.
• Review and approve shop drawings and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients and contractors.
• Support project management in achieving timely delivery.
