Job summary

Ramboll Dubai seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead end-to-end electrical design for mission-critical data centres, covering MV/LV distribution, UPS, and power systems, with DEWA/ADDC/FEWA coordination and UAE regulatory compliance.

You will drive cross-discipline collaboration, develop technical documentation, mentor engineers, and ensure performance targets, resilience strategies, and BIM delivery while upholding Ramboll's values and leadership standards.

Qualifications

• BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering
• Chartered/Professional Electrical Engineer (or equivalent)
• Experience leading MV/LV electrical design for data centres or mission-critical facilities
• Proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD and BIM (Revit)

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for mission-critical data centre projects from concept to IFC
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Fire Protection, and BMS/EPMS teams
• Engage with utilities (DEWA, ADDC, FEWA) on connection strategies and approvals
• Prepare electrical basis of design and technical presentations
• Oversee commissioning support and performance validation
