Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and supervise electrical systems for construction and MEP projects in the UAE. The role requires on-site supervision, coordination with design and project teams, and ensuring compliance with DEWA/ADDC regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–4 years of hands-on experience in UAE or GCC projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Dialux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3-4 years hands-on experience in construction or MEP projects, preferably in UAE or GCC region.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, and other electrical design software.
• Thorough knowledge of DEWA, ADDC, and related authority submission procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-current systems.
• Review and prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built plans for accuracy and constructability.
• Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning per designs and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve design or installation conflicts.
• Inspect materials and equipment for compliance with specs and submittals.
• Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
